How It Began
In May 1986, Darryl decided to shoot his shot again after making a few previous attempts. I am not sure if it was the Bradley boy's reputation or if a sister was just playing a little hard to get those other times (lol). But, on that faithful day, he stopped his baby blue and white Regal Buick in front of me, while I was sitting on the steps eating a water ice and said, "can I have some"? It was at that very moment that I decided to stop playing hard to get and give him a shot. So, I replied "some of what"? I guess my response shocked him at bit because he was a little speechless. So, I laughed and said, "I couldn't help myself, I was just joking with you". We both laughed, talked for a bit, and then exchanged phone numbers.
And as the saying goes, the rest is history.

Our Wedding Day
After a dating for 5 years, we tied the knot on July 6, 1991 in front of our family and friends and it was truly a celebration.
We had a beautiful wedding, the day was perfect in every way possible. When we look back on that day; not only do we remember the good times we had, but we also remember our love ones we shared the day with that are no longer here with us. We will cherish those memories forever. We remember how young and in love we were, we were so ready to conquer the world!!

Starting a Family
When we married, I became a bonus mom to Brandon Jamel. He was 1 year old when we met and 6 years old when we got married. After 4 years of marriage, we welcomed our daughter Deja on July 7, 1995. Both of our children have grown up to be wonderful and responsible adults, making their foot prints in the sand and working to leave their mark on the world.
Building our Dreams Together
After running our business part time for a few years; in 2009, we both decided to take a leap of faith. We both quit our full-time jobs and began to run Acereel Studio, LLC full time. It was the most exhilarating and scariest thing we have ever done. Being entrepreneurs has not been easy, but the rewards far exceed the challenges. We have been innovators in the photography and media industry, having the most notable Multi-Media studio in the Tri-State Area. This year, we will celebrate 19 years in business. Serving our community, empowering people and inspiring others continues to be our driving
force. All we can say is that we owe it all to God's FAVOR, GRACE, AND MERCY!
